We certify the complete traceability chain of our materials through a barcode system and by printing a batch code on each product. In Tornell Sac we are specialized in producing sacks for the Chemical and Food Industry. Under current regulation, we manufacture sacks approved to store and carry all types of powders.  As choosing the right packaging is a very important issue, we like to exchange knowledge with the customer and understand their needs to produce the best sack for each product. We want to ensure full customer satisfaction. We offer a wide variety of sacks: sacks of up to 5 sheets made of paper or polyethylene sheet, as well as other complex materials. In order to protect the products from light and other external factors, we incorporate all kind of barriers to our sacks. The possibility of introducing a polyethylene bag inside will ensure a complete sealing.  We guarantee the quality of the product and we do it with enormous respect for the environment.

So much has happened since 1962, when José Tornell (father) started making sacks in small premises in Barcelona. Then, most sacks were produced manually. Over the years, more and more automatic machinery was added, which led to faster production and a better final product. The company moved to its current location in La Llagosta In 1995 Tornell Sac received the approval to manufacture sacks for hazardous products under ADR, TPC, IMDG, IMO. As regards the recycling of used sacks, that same year Tornell Sac adhered to REPASACK in accordance with the current standards in Germany. Concerned about the environment and with the aim of offering maximal guarantees, in 2002 the company entered the Health General Register, with number 39.03012/B, issued by the Public Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health. In 2011 Tornell Sac was recognized with ISO 9001 certificate for its quality management system. Nowadays, the factory is fully automated. SAP (leader in enterprise software) is used both in the production chain and in the administration and accounting department. Combining the latest technology with a personalized and warm service, today José and Antonio Tornell are in charge of one of the most competitive enterprises in their field.
